Game development: High Concept document example

High Concept document example

From Steve Vicent's Website:

"The purpose of this document is to provide a basis for a sales pitch for your product. Call it a résumé for your game. This document is a tool to get a meeting with a publisher/investor, at which you will make a real (more developed) pitch.

The document is structured in a series of parts. The first two are loosely defined, the third is more formal, and the fourth is a catch all for whatever did not fit the first three."

Here's an example, that I created when I was studying Principles of game design by Coursera. My fictitious game name is (DES)Construct it! (if you want the full PDF file, just ask)

Game development: Story Bible document example

Story Bible document example

It's a document that contains the game's history. Some games have little history or even not at all, especially for "arcade games"

(For example - Chess? Minesweeper? Maybe a spinoff? Candy Crush? Who knows?) At the same time, RPG games tend to have a strong story (Hint: Final Fantasy 7 remake)

Here's an example, that I created when I was studying Principles of game design by Coursera. My fictitious game name is (DES)Construct it! (if you want the full PDF file, just ask)

Game development: Game Design Document example

Game Design Document example

From Wikipedia:

A game design document (often abbreviated GDD) is a highly descriptive living software design document of the design for a video game. A GDD is created and edited by the development team and it is primarily used in the video game industry to organize efforts within a development team.

The document is created by the development team as a result of a collaboration between their designers, artists, and programmers as a guiding vision that is used throughout the game development process. When a game is commissioned by a game publisher to the development team, the document must be created by the development team and it is often attached to the agreement between publisher and developer; the developer has to adhere to the GDD during the game development process.

Memories: Learning blender - the first days II

I don't know, it looks like each drawing course you do, including blender (modeling course in this case), has the basic "table" scene.
Well, here it is:

This project has not been finished too.
