Creating a cyberpunk 2077 like city in blender Pt3 (Optimization)

The work is going. This building it's almost done. I will share my thoughts about how to optimize your workflow.

TIP: Important things to consider when modeling: proportion / scale

Final result



1) You can model a floor then repeat. 
In this case, this floor is 3meters in height, repeated 72 times which equals to 216meters. You don't want to draw the same thing 72 times. If you need variations then draw a block, then another variation, then repeat 36 times each. Just an idea to save time. Also, the same texture is used in these blocks:





2) External structure: the same principle applies here: 



3) Do you think this 'idea' is not used in today's (2019) games? yes.
